Invar Staff Rods Introduction
Invar Grade Rods are used in land surveying when first-order high-precision elevation leveling is to be performed. The Grade Rod, also known as Leveling Rods and Leveling Staff are made of Invar which is a nickel–iron alloy notable for its uniquely low coefficient of thermal expansion. The name "Invar" comes from the word invariable, which refers to its relative lack of expansion or contraction with temperature changes which directly lends itself to making the most reliable rod for measuring elevation changes in land.

- Superior graduation accuracy and high quality image of stripes.
- Body of the Invar staff made of rigid aluminum profile with anodized surface. It makes sure it is not easy to get deformed in the process of measurements and very convenient to carry.
- Invar tape seated in a protection groove of staff profile and tensioned by soft spring to compensate extension coefficient of staff profile.
- Foot plate of chrome-alloy; hardened, smooth and ground.
- Equipped with two circular bubbles and fold-away handles. Handles zinced and powder-coated.
- Staff Length is customizable according to customers’ needs.
- LED strip lights is optional. It can be used in mines, tunnels, night-time construction sites. Equipped with two pieces of power bank.
